Health & Safety
We insist on the following formal policies in order to protect the health and safety of all our guests.
- We require current vaccinations for Rabies, Bordetella and DHPP. These must be documented by your veterinarian.
- All owners will need to complete an application regarding your dog's personality.
- Your dog will need to pass our temperament evaluation in order to measure compatibility with our other guests.
Inappropriate dog behavior will result in termination of our services for your pet. Inappropriate dog behavior includes, but is not limited to, bullying another dog, biting and fighting. We will discuss all situations and concerns candidly with you and recommend training options that may remedy any undesirable behavior.
All Day Play/Day Camp
Dogs are social animals and enjoy being part of the pack. They simply love to play together! At Paws & Pals, your dog will get to have fun with furry friends of the same size and personality.
Unlike some dog parks, your dog will be safe and secure under the watchful eye of our Pet Care Specialists. It's like going to the beach and having trained lifeguards on duty.
Many dogs also experience separation anxiety when left alone during the day. They may destroy furniture, have accidents in the house, bark non-stop or get very stressed out. This creates a difficult challenge for pet parents. Many people simply don't have the time to properly exercise their dogs due to long work hours and increasing commute times.
Day Camp is a tremendous benefit to dogs and their owners. Dogs need a positive channel for their energy and Paws & Pals' six indoor and outdoor areas provide the ideal environment for having fun! Having played all day, your dog will be ready to relax in its private vacation villa or with you comfortably on the couch at home.
Web Cam Viewing
You'll love being able to check up on your dog while at work or on vacation. Our six high- quality web cams give you a live close up view of all the action taking place in our various recreational areas. You can even take a snapshot of your pooch running, wrestling or just relaxing.
This high-tech touch provides you peace of mind by being able to log-in and make sure that your pet is having a great time!
Grooming Salon
Welcome to our full-service Salon, where our skilled stylists will assist you with choosing the perfect grooming treatment for your pampered pet. Quality cuts and gentle treatments are given to each individual guest using only the finest products.
Our relaxing warm water HydroSurge ® bath is just heavenly - your dog will love the massage like invigorating sensation! Ears are cleaned, nails clipped and coats are brushed and fluffed with gentle warm air. Regular bathing will keep your pet's coat clean and shiny and help to maintain healthy skin.
Your pet will leave Paws & Pals looking good and smelling fresh. Our Salon services add to the fun and comfort of any short or long-term stay.
Specialized Training
Our training is presented in partnership with Canine Discovery. Conducted by Jen Severud, a certified dog trainer, we want to help you discover the "good dog" in your dog! Specific services include:
- In-home behavior counseling
- One-on-one dog obedience education
- Puppy education and crate training
- Down To Basics & Puppy Parenting Classes
- Breed selection based on your family's lifestyle
We use a "relationship-based" approach to dog training and place an emphasis on teaching you how to connect with your dog, rather than getting your dog to simply obey you. We use a reward-based training method that emphasizes the positive! Your dog's best interest is our main concern!
