Dog Training Classes Schedule

Our class sizes are intentionally small, with a maximum of 6 per class. In comparison, large classes are more stressful for the dogs and their people. In our classes you will benefit from a better learning environment and receive more personalized attention.

Puppy Manners Program

*Comparable to Early Education, no pet parents
Instructors have in-depth professional expertise working specifically with puppies.

The goal of this 5 week program is to make sure your dog is well equipped to handle all of life’s challenges. The program is catered to each puppy’s individual needs and will focus on a combination of socialization and obedience training. Younger dogs (8-12 weeks old) will receive more emphasis on socialization, but will still cover all of the basics of obedience, and mature puppies will receive slightly more advanced obedience training. We strictly adhere to positive reinforcement methods and this program is NOT designed for behavior modification (aggression, anxiety … ). You would drop off your puppy at a designated time and come back 4 hours later. Each 4 hour session will consist of about 1 hour of individual 1-1 training, 1 hour of socialization, 1 hour of group time (provided your puppy is comfortable in group), and 1 hour of break time. Please allow 15-30 minutes at pick up time so the trainer can demonstrate training techniques and go over any homework assignments.
Socialization Topics include confidence building, introduction to the grooming room, desensitizing to scary things like vacuums, introductions to various people and dogs, field trips to the vet clinic, impulse control, and more…
Obedience Topics include Sit, Stay, Lay down, Heel, Loose leash walking, Leave it, Place/Mat training, Crate training, and more…
